The"Three Represents" Theory and the Historical Orientation of the CPC

abstractThe Three Represents Theory is put forward on the basis of the scientific judgment of the historical orientation of the CPC. Only from the perspective of the historical orientation of the Party can we understand the essence of Three Represents. Starting from the historical orientation of the Party, it is based on the construction theory of Marxist ruling party, and advocates constructing the socialist economy, politics and culture with Chinese characteristics and the overall development of the society so as to realize the ultimate aim of Chinese nation's great rejuvenation. It is a comprehensive scientific theory which fully reflects the Party's basic theory, guideline, principles and experiences.
