Diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cystic lesions:a report of 90 cases

Objective To summarize the characteristics of pancreatic cystic lesions and investigate their diagnosis and treatment methods. Methods The clinical data of 90 patients with pancreatic cystic lesions from January 2008 to August 2013 was retrospectively analyzed. Results Among the 90 patients with pancreatic cystic lesions,69 cases were pancreatic pseudocyst and 21 cases pancreatic cystic neoplasms. 40 patients out of 90 were underwent conservative management,3 cases were performed by percutaneous tube drainage and 8 by endoscope tube drainage. In 39 laparotomy patients,1 patients underwent external drainage,22 internal drainage,14 cyst conbine pancreatic body and tail resection,and 2 pancreatic head resection. Conclusions computerized tomography and EUS play an important role in the diagnosis of pancreatic cystic lesions. Different cyst chooses different treatment methods to reduce complications and the recurrence rates.
