Analysis on Sports Science Papers' Output Supported by General Social Science Funds

By using the bibliometric method, and taking the papers supported by general social science funds of sports science published in the new century as the research objects, this paper carries out a statistical analysis on these funds supported papers from the aspects of the years distribution, journals distribution, projects distribution, authors status, and keywords frequency, etc. for revealing the output of sports science papers supported by social science funds. The results show that the quantity of sports science papers has increased year by year, the papers demonstrate a trend of obvious concentration in journals distribution, projects distribution, units distribution and authors distribution, and the themes of the papers involve many aspects, and the national traditional sports, mass sports, competitive sports, sports culture, Olympic Games, sports industry, and rural sports, etc. are the major concerns of these papers.
