The Demarcation of Practice in Marxist philosophy——Also comments on the generalization and narrow theory on practice

The category of practice in Marxist philosophy in an important position is self-evident,but the connotation and extension of it is in a long-standing dispute.Two basic tendencies are the generalization and narrow.The accurate extension needs the exact definition.In the interpretation of the connotation of practice,we must adhere to two principles:one is to understand the practice in the history of philosophy;the other is to take the practice as a unity.According to them,we not only reveal errors of the practice generalization theory and the practice narrow theory,but also through the practice connotation determine draw an important conclusion:not regulate practice with material or spirit,but regulate material or spirit with practice.Practice is the foundation of all human life,but not all human activities are practice.The standard to judge practice is unity of the initiative and the reality.According to the version of Marx which has the Capital and its manuscripts as the core,we demarcate exactly the extension the material activities,communication activities and mental activities as practice.Western Existentialist Marxist philosopher Sutter's historical anthropology on set and group,as well as some of the results of the contemporary Chinese Marxist philosophy give us important inspiration.
