Effects of chronic prostatitis on male infertility

Abstract

Objectives:To investigate the relationship between chronic prostatitis(CP)and male infertility.Methods:Patients with prostatitis were studied among 523 cases of male infertility.Results:The cases of male idiopathic infertility with CP were 56.5% whereas the progressive infertility cases with CP were 62.6%.Conclusion:CP can play an important negative role in male infertility.
