On the three changes of Liang Shuming's educational concept and practice

Three changes are observed of Liang Shuming's educational concept and practice all his life. First, Liang's aim of education is academia. Second, he puts emphasis on the education for the sake of the youth. Third, he is determined to engage himself to the rural education in pursuit of the national progress. The writer of the paper concludes that Liang's educational concept and ambition represent those of Chinese last generation of Confucians in the early of 20 th century.
