Abstract
The antagonism of an isolate of Trichoderma sp. from soil by our lab, T41 ,against Pythirm aphanidermatum was tested in vitro by dual culture. The mechanisms of antagonism of Trichoderma sp. including competition ,mycoparasitism ,antibody -secretion and cell lysis were investigated prima-rily. The application of Trichoderma sp. in biological control of cucumber Pythirm aphanidermatum was carried out in flower vessel ,and the results showed that the effect of Trichoderma sp in hio - con-trol against cucumber Pythirm aphaniedrmatum reached 80% ,and this effect can be retain long time and promote the growth of crop.
