Abstract

In her novels,Yan Geling has been seeking a language which is full of life and which is not to lose the verve of Chinese language in the process of translation.By turning what she feels about life into words and extending the resources of her mother tongue,and with a global sense in her mind,Yan has been making an effort to look for a narrative angle to express a language sensation comprehended at home and abroad.She presents a broad mind in using language.The characters and stories in her novels are not only limited in Beijing and Shanghai,and this helps Chinese language to gain international recognition and extension.
