Abstract
The wastewater of starch industry was heated by using the pressure-increased SBR method. The concentration of COD form the running- in water was 3500 to 4200 mg/L, HRT was eight to twelve hours, and FV was 4 to 8 kgCOD/m~3.The removal of COD was 94% to 96%, and COD form the running- out water was less then 150 mg/L. Comparal with regthar SBR method, this one had prompt biochemical reaction and more persistent tolerance of charge shock.
