Abstract

Objective To study medical imaging features of tumors in cerebellopontine angle(CPA) and its differential diagnosis. Methods CT,MRI finding in 15 cases of tumors in CPA approved by pathology were retrospectively analyzed. Results 12 cases showed a round or oblong masses with diameter of 2.5~5 cm in CPA. 3 cases of tumors, dumbbell form, located between middle and posterior cranial fossae. On T\-2WI the fibrous meningioma showed iso\|intensity or hypo\|intensity, the schwannoma displayed hyper\|intensity; and the metastatic lesion slight hyper\|intensity. The MRI features of the epidermoidomas distinguish may from the arachnoid cysts. Conclusion Differential diagnosis of CPA tumor can be made by combining morphologic and its enhancement characteristies.\;
