Abstract
Large wave can cause the liquefaction of seabed,and the wave-induced liquefaction of seabed is a key problem for the coastal and offshore engineering.When the effective stress of the soil matrix in the seabed converts to the pore water pressure and then becomes zero,the soil shear strength decreases and soil liquefaction occurs.Based on the Biot′s consolidation theory,the dynamic response of seabed to the wave loading is analyzed using FLAC,which can be used to calculate the maximum depth of liquefaction of the seabed.Meanwhile,the analysis indicates that the process of wave-induced liquefaction of the seabed is the result of the rising of the pore water pressure,soil liquefaction,soil sinking and compression after liquefaction,and the dissipation of the pore water pressure.The results can reflect the regularity of the wave-induced liquefaction of seabed.
