Abstract

Pressure vessels are pressure equipment which is used widely but is dangerous.The material selection for the pressure vessel is an important step in a design that may determine application of a vessel in the future.Mechanical strength and anti-corrosion of materials will affect pressure vessel application as well.The improvement of industry technology demands urgently the pressure vessel with better performance even under some severe conditions.It sums up structural characteristics and design and manufacture status quo of composite pressure vessels and puts forward coherent stress distribution calculation methods,then specifies some subjective and objective factors of composite pressure vessel failure,thus points out that the analysis forcomposite pressure vessel is still at an initial stage.It provides some reference for research of composite pressure vessel.
