Abstract

The cultivation experiment of new hybrid rice variety,K-you 267 was conducted to investigate the effects of different sowing date and seedling number per hole on yield and growth period of K-you 267 in Guiyang in 2003.The results showed that the average yield of different treatments was 631.1kg/667m~(2),10.4% higher than the average yield of CK(Shanyouwan 3).The best yield gained from the treatment with sowing date,on 31,March,24 days seedling age and single seedling per hole was(688.6kg/667m~(2)),6.54% higher than the best yield of CK from the treatment with sowing date on 5 May,15 days seedling age and three seedlings per hole.The cultivation technique for young seedling of K-you 267 was discussed.
