Abstract
The structural feature of the special purpose vehicle frame are presented based on the practical design of the special purpose vehicle. The finite element calculation model of this frame is established in ANSYS software based on the shell elements. The link 11 element and beam 4 element are used to imitate the suspension system. The finite element model is calculated with the stress and deformation analysis at full static load to check the strength and stiffness of the frame. The modal analysis of this finite element calculation model is carried out to obtain the frame nature frequency and vibration mode. And the opinion for the frame's structural optimization is put forward.
