An Ethical Approach to the Theory of Harmonious Society

Abstract

The value objectives of contemporary ethics are fully consistent with the six features of socialist harmonious society,likedemocracy and rule of law,justice,therefore it is a theoretic problem of great realistic significance to study the ethical countermeasures of the construction of a harmonious society.Justice is the core category of ethics,forNo justice,no morality andJustice is harmony;it is an old proposition of both Chinese and Foreign ethics.The contemporary ethics believes that social justice is the premise of social harmony forjustice is the primal value of social system.So to build a harmonious socialist society,we must obey the principle of social justice,aim at the best combination of proficiency and justice,and maintain social justice.We must bear Deng Xiaoping's ideas on social justice in mind,strengthen the education of justice,public servant and civilians,accelerate the construction of systemic justice,democracy and rule of law,and realize the conversion of the traditional subject culture to modern civilian culture.
