Abstract

A 63m high brick chimney under complicated environments was demolished successfully by directional controlled blasting.Blasting scheme was designed elaborately,according to the characteristics of its environments and structure.Blasting cut,blasting parameters,and initiation network were chosen reasonably,meanwhile,blasting safety check and protective measures were strengthen.Good blasting effect was achieved.
