Abstract
With the acceleration of China's high-speed railway construction,in particular,inter-city trains and the EMU in opening lines, highway passenger facing increasing competitive pressures, market share decreased significantly. As the highway passenger and high-speed passenger rail can not be ignored each other with strong alternative, the competition between the two is inevitable. This article discusses the high-speed railway passenger transport and road passenger economic distance,on this basis we concluded that the advantages of both, hope that on this basis can provide relevant strategies and recommendations,in turn, can make the overall competitiveness of road passenger transport have the upgrade.
