Abstract
In order to increase the DC bus voltage utilization ratio, reduce the harmonic and expand the operation range of induction machines,a new SVPWM algorithm and the control strategy in the overmodulation range were proposed. The comparison between the new algorithm and previous algorithm and the results show that the efficiency of the new algorithm is very high.A linear relationship is between output voltage and modulation index, realizing smooth transitions from linear modulation to six-step operation.DSP28335 and FPGA were adopted in the NPC experimental platform, and the results prove the feasibility and efficiency of the algorithm.
