Development status and strategy of urban agriculture in Guangzhou

By analyzing the conditions for development of urban agriculture,the development process,characteristics and development barriers in Guangzhou City,The results showed that: The conditions for development of urban agriculture are favorable of Guangzhou City;Has been the formation of production,technology demonstration,ecological barriers,leisure services and other functions,And spatial variation is obvious.Urban agriculture is facing the development of internal and external barriers,such as the status of agriculture dropped,the expansion of urban land,less labor,environmental pollution.Guangzhou to promote healthy and sustainable development of urban agriculture,should further enhance awareness of the importance of urban agriculture,and coordinate the overall planning and urban contradictions;break the administrative boundaries,the formation of a large agricultural area of Guangzhou metropolitan area;take the road of development of urban agriculture science and technology;perfect supporting the circulation system of urban agriculture,off-site construction of part of the agro-food production base;to develop ecological agriculture and tourism.
