Abstract

Due to the complex oil-water relationship in complex fault-block oilfield, with the deepening of the development, oil production is greatly affected by water-cut and flowing bottomhole pressure. In order to maintain oil-production stability, the development plan should be adjusted periodically. So,it is very important to accurately predict IPR curve for the design and adjustment of development plan of oil well because the IPR curve is not only the basis of the well performance analysis, but also the foundation of determining the reasonable working system of the oil pumping unit.Considering the influence of water-cut and flowing bottomhole pressure, the IPR curves in the condition of various water-cut stages were calculated by using the relative permeability curves and the new IPR equation. The method has been applied in SN142 block of Qinjiatun Oilfield to forecast parameters of oil-well inflow performance in different water-cut stages. The result indicates that the method got very good results in practical application, and has a certain reference for the development of the same type oilfield.
