Abstract

Effects of microclimate, soil improvement,soil and water conservation of the mixed plantation of Platycladus orientalis and Amorpha fruticosa and fodder and fire wood produced by the plantation were discussed. The beneficial relation between Platycladus orientalis and Amorpha fruticosa was put forward. Based on soil moisture and vegetation conditions in the gully area of Loess Plateau,the mixed models and silviculture techniques were determined,the results of experiments and demonstration were very good.
