Abstract

The storage and transmission for audio signal has developed from analog signal to digital signal.As digital audio coding technology has been a wide range of applications.The MPEG(Moving Picture Expert Group) has developed a series of international standards since 1988.Among them,MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 are well known.Since 1999 new MPEG Standards like MPEG-4,MPEG-7 and MPEG-21 have been formulated,which produced far-reaching effect on audio technology.
