Abstract
Objective To study the feasibility of indirect immunofluorescent antibody quantitative technique (IIFAQT) in detecting rabies infective titer. Methods Set up and improved the IIFAQT. The sensitivity and stability of IIFAQT were studied and compared with the technique of mouse intracranial injection. Result IIFAQT has good stability and sensitivity similar to those of mouse intracranial injection technique.Compared with the mouse intracranial injection technique, IIFAQT quite shortened the detection time. Conclusion IIFAQT is specific and stable in detecting rabie infective titer.
