Abstract
The inclinometer theories of earth gravity vector measured by three-axis orthogonal accelerometers and earth magnetic vector measured by three-axis orthogonal magnetic sensors were introduced.Based on these theories, the calculation methods of rake angle, azimuth and tool angle were deduced. The intelligent inclinometer was investigated from hardware aspect and software aspect separately, its error was analyzed, and the main errors were compensated by the software. The ground monitor system was designed through using multithreading technology and employing Delphi as the software platform.
