Abstract

HU Yuan,SUN Fu and SHI Jie were the famous historians in the early period of Song dynasty and are called Three Maters in the field of the history science.As the Confucian intellectuals,in order to safeguard the Confucian tradition,they criticized the Buddhist and Taoist thoughts that unchecked spread then,advocated the real spirit of Confucian School and displayed their determination and courage to revive the Confucian learning,so that started the Cheng-Zhu Confucian School Philosophy that affected the Chinese feudalist society for as long as 700 years.
