Research on Application of Sodium Hypochlorite in Living Water Station

Abstract

The disinfection effect,stability,economy and safety by sodium hypochlorite were demonstrated.The advantages and disadvantages of the sodium hypochlorite used in the living water of Baoshan Steel Iron Co.,Ltd.were analyzed.It considered that disinfection by sodium hypochlorite made great increase of the safety and significant reduction of equipment costs.However,the sodium hypochlorite was easy to be decomposed and operation costs were high.
