Abstract
It takes a FF Manual transmission vehicle as study object to establish integration model which includes mechanical subsystems and thermal transfer subsystems, and presents a method to consider fuel consumption during engine warm-up process. Based on the validation of each subsystem model,it uses this integrated model to analyze the energy exchange between the system and the vehicle fuel consumption for both cold start and hot start circumstances. By comparing the engine warm-up process and fuel consumption, the simulation and test results are in good consistency. This method can study the influence of vehicle thermal subsystems on fuel consumption, and provides more ideas to improve vehicle fuel economy.
