Abstract
Thirty male and thirty female reindeer which had been naturally infected with L2 and L3 of Cephmemyia trompe were divided into the ivermectin, the avermectin and the control groups (n♂=10, n♀=10) to evaluate the efficacy of ivermectin and avermectin against L2 and L3 of C. trompe. Results showed that the efficacy of ivermectin and avermectin against the L2 was 100%, but the efficacy against the L3 were 99. 7% and 96. 6%, respectively.
