Abstract
The load transfer mechanism and deformation characteristics of cast-in-place piles in composite foundation with rigid-flexible piles are different from that in free state.Working property of pile is complex due to interaction between rigid pile, flexible pile and soil.Static load tests of the same pile under different situation are carried out in Wenzhou. On the basis of monitoring data in the process of static load test, settlement characteristics, load transfer mechanism and compression of pile shaft are analyzed;the conclusions can benefit to engineering design and construction.
