Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the curative effect of copper needles in different methods for the treatment of hemangioma and vascular malformation. Methods:Three methods including copper neeldes retention in the lesion only, vascular ligation with copper needles in the lesion and copper needles insertion combined with a direct current were used respectively for the treatment of 21 patients with hemangioma or vascular malformation. Results:Of 21 patients,11 were cured,9 effective and 1 case ineffective, the total effective rate was 95.2%.Conclusion:The effect of copper needle in the treatment of hemangioma and vascular malformation is definite, the copper needle retention combined with a direct current has a better effect than copper needle retention only.
