"The New Social Class" in the Perspective of Historical Materialism

There are two classical class and stratum theories and methods in the western sociology——Marx's class theory and Weber's. The new social class is the builder of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and it will be the important factor to keep China's social structure stable. Seeing from the Historical Materialism,this article analyses the social attibute and function of the new social class in our country with Marxist class method,through being compared with the western middle class.
