Abstract
Objective:To study college students' nutrition knowledge,attitude and dietary behaviors in Yichun University,and to provide bases for implementing nutrition,health education and intervene.Methods:With a self-designed questionnaire about nutrition,attitudes and dietary behaviors,a survey was conducted among 386 college students from grade one to grade three in Yichun University.Results :The medical students were deficient in nutritional knowledge.Totally,about 50% of the students made the right answer.Among students in this study,some unhealthy dietary behaviors were found.About 27.2% of the students did not have breakfast everyday.Furthermore,the quality of the breakfast was poor and the kind of breakfast was drab.Besides,having only 9.8% of the students drink milk everyday.However,they had the desire for receiving nutritional education.About 89.6% and 92.5% of the students were eager to correct unhealthy dietary behaviors for health and acquire more knowledge.Conclusion:Most of the students lack nutritional knowledge and have some unhealthy dietary behaviors.The students hold a positive attitude towards accepting nutritional knowledge.The education of the knowledge on nutrition should be strengthened in college students so as to correct the unhealthy dietary behaviors and improve their health.
