Abstract
The current blind equalization and blind channel identification methods mainly consider the time-invariant channel. While a time-varying channel is taken into account, the conventional adaptive methods often neglect the interrelated characteristics and they can抰 perform well in time-varying channel equalization and identification. In this paper while incorporation of the channel抯 time-varying characteristics is called for, we model the time-varying channel using the multi-resolution decomposition wavelets, and then a blind identification method based on the model is proposed.
