Abstract

The detection probability of electro-optic detection equipment is an important index. There are four kinds of electro-optic detection systems, such as narrow band, wide band, photon counting, accumulative detection, of which mathematic models of detection probability are also different. Based on analysis of the statistical models of signal and noise, these formulae of detection probability and false alarm rate of four systems are presented, which can be used in the design of specific electro-optic detection equipment.
