Combined Therapy of Secondary Lip and Nasal Deformities after Unilateral Cleft

Objective To explore methods for repairing secondary lip and nasal deformities of unilateral lip cleft.Methods 362 cases with secondary lip and nasal deformities of unilateral cleft lip were treated with different procedures according to the different locations and degree of secondary lip and nasal deformities.Results Good results were achieved in 351 cases with the lip and nasal deformities except 11 cases.Patients had showed better appearances after the operations.Conclusion The methods for repairing secondary deformities of unilateral cleft lip is not a fixative procedure which is more complicated than the cleft repair surgery.A simple,less traumatic,and effective procedure are selected in general.
