Abstract
By analyzing the reason that the groundsill of some building subsides,it is found that the main reason bringing on the subsiding is the sinking of back-filing and underlayer of yellow earth under the groundsill thick back-filing above it as well as the thick high-compressible back-filing under the groundsill; besides,compared the method of grouting with that of micro-pile underpinning,the method of micro-pile underpinning was adopted to reinforce the constructure with the underpinning design.
