Abstract
The effect of high NaCl stress(300 mmol/L)on seedlings growth of Pinusarmandii Franch.after seed soaking with low-NaCl concentration(0-200 mmol/L) was studied. After seed soaking with 200 mmol/L NaCl,the seed got the best salt resistance. In comparison with the control(soaking with water),the germination rate and germination energy increased 16.34 percentage points and 7.67 percentage points, respectively.Under this condition, the height of seedlings increased 34.85%,wet weight and dry weight increased 7.01% and 20.79%,soluble sugar increased 56.31%,SOD activity and MDA contents decreased 68.84% and 40.69%,respectively.
