The Aesthetic Connotation of Wuxia Novels by JIN Yong

Abstract

Perhaps the aesthetic connotation in the texts of JIN Yong's Wuxia novels could be more thoroughly interpreted from both the traditional and modern fields of oiston. The texts of JIN Yong's Wuxia novels represent JIN Yong's peculiar pattern of thought, highlight the subtle description of human nature, esp. provide a clear dual visual field in the mastery of the receptive psychology of the readers. It is the very dual field of vision that widely blends the readers old ideas with their present new thoughts. This is the root of JIN Yong craze and it also explains why the academic circles pay a good deal of attention to it.
