Abstract
Development and application status of industrial briquette in China were discussed. Influence key factor of briquette market is the briquette quality. Cold state briquetting process provided only surface binding of coal particles in a physic form. The hot state briquetting process provided carbonization condition to change the molecule structure of coal particles. Based on this analysis, a hot state briquetting process and/or cold state briquetting combination high temperature carbonization process is put forward. It can increase the briquette quality and open up the briquette market.
