Abstract

Unlike the critical attitude to Dong Zhongshu,a Confucian in the Han Dynasty,a primary analysis is made of Dong Zhongshu’s progressive historical viewpoints.In order to seek national peace and social develop-ment,Dong Zhongshu put forward the theory of general universality of The ultimate truth remains unchanged without the change of essence and the hypothesis of three universality-oriented principles.All these hypotheses had a positive influence on the upgrading of two historical studies in the Han Dynasty.
