Abstract

The mesoporous molecular sieve (MCM 41) and the MCM 41 supported Rh PPh 3 complex (PPh 3: triphenylphosphine) were prepared and characterized by XRD and FT IR. The results showed that the MCM 41 supported Rh PPh 3 complex performed higher catalytic activity for hydroformylation of propene than some other molecular sieves supported catalysts under the same reaction conditions.
