Application of ground penetrating radar in Benxikou tunnel geological prediction

Abstract

The working principle of ground penetrating radar(GPR) for geological forecast was introduced.In the case of the application of GPR in Benxikou tunnel of Shui-Sui secondary road,a geological forecast was conducted according to the geological radar image.It shows that geological radar is a quick and efficient way for geological forecast during the construction of the tunnel,and can provide a good guide for tunnel construction.
