Abstract

The task of promoting the popularization of Marxism in contemporary China set by the 17th Congress of the CPC has immediately become a hot issue in both academic circles and theoretical circles. Scholars have disclosed the profound connotations and spiritual essence by the comprehensive exploration of its theoretical basis, historical background and practical foundation. They also put forward some basic principles and requirements for and approaches to the promotion of the popularization of Marxism in contemporary China. A summary of the above achievements will promote the further study of the issue. Combing the results of these studies will help to promote further study of the issue.
