Abstract
Objective: To study the effect of Xieliguchangwan( XLGCW) on the function of intestinal motility of small intestine in vivo and in vitro. Methods: Effect of XLGCW on rate of small intestine facilitation in normal mice was observed. Preparing drug serum of XLGCW,contraction frequency and contraction tension of normal small intestine and excited small intestine by pilocarpine nitrate in vitro were observed. Results: XLGCW could decrease the rate of small intestine facilitation in normal mice,and also could decrease contraction frequency and contraction tension in normal small intestine and excite small intestine by pilocarpine nitrate in vitro. Conclusion: XLGCW could inhibite the function of intestinal motility.
