Study of Road Congestion Pricing in the Central Area of Qingdao City

With the national economy and urbanization process fast developing in our country,growing traffic congestion has become a general problem which more and more,big-sized and medium-sized cities are faced,and also has become one of the urgent problems which needs to be solved in the process of urbanization.Road Congestion Pricing is to ease road congestion as an effective measure of traffic demand management,which has been successfully used in some urban areas, so it attracts more and more attention.First introduces the current status of traffic congestion and Road Congestion Pricing related theory;The paper analysis the feasibility of Road Congestion Pricing in the central area of Qingdao through learning London successfully implement traffic congestion pricing,and according to the geographical location,the actual status of road congestion and the characteristics of the peak tourist routes of the Qingdao city,and propose related measures.
