Abstract

Reading plays an important role in language teaching. However, many language learners fail to adopt effective strategies in their reading, which has given rise to a common phenomenon of “high commitment, low production” in reading teaching. Therefore, in order to acquire good reading effect and improve reading speed, the teachers should consciously help students foster a good reading habit and apply effective strategies to reading.
