RESRERCH ON DIGITAL REGIONAL GEOLOGIC SURVEY SYSTEM TECHNIQUES

Digital regional geologic survey is urgent to solve the problems in the main informatization course in geologic survey and mapping. It is the direction of geologic survey and mapping in developed countries. Based on the present situation of digital mapping techniques and the digital field geologic survey and mapping capturing techniques in developed countries, the theory frame of digital mapping techniques and methods as well as the new advance capturing techniques of digital field geologic survey and mapping have been discussed in the paper according to the methods of techniques research on the means of mapping techniques research, the accurate, degree and cycle of research, the showing forms of production of field geologic survey and mapping, which include the system of field geologic data capture device (such as HPC or PDA) for capturing field geologic data, the digital geological survey computer system, the date model of geological survey digital data, the special date model of geological survey digital data based on 3S (GIS ,GPS RS) techniques and the flow techniques of digital mapping techniques,the tools methods of implementing digital mapping techniques etc.
