Abstract
The compensation for forest ecological benefits is a means for the benefits of external of forest resources became internal.Tropical natural forest in the central mountainous area of Hainan Island has great ecological benefits.Now,Making ecological compensation for the forest has become imperative in the area,as it has a backward level of culture and economy.The main ecological benefits of the forest were assessed,and then a scientific research in the central area and other related cities was made in-depth.On the basis of it,the establishment of an ecological compensation mechanism for the forest was discussed,and the subject and object,the standard and the means of compensation were all identified.
