Abstract
The vector control method was adopted in this paper to build up a simulation model of a permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM),based on the toolbox of Matlab/Simulink software. Then, the model was used to simulate various operation of the system such as starting, accelerating and braking under varied conditions. And the torque pulsation situation under different electric current stagnating link width was compared. The simulated result showed that the performance of the PMSM was well controlled by the PWM inverter and current-speed double closed-loop control system presented.
