Abstract
The terrestrial carbon cycle plays an important role in the global carbon cycle.Land-use change is still the most uncertain element in assessing the carbon storage and release in the terrestrial ecosystem.The carbon pools in soil and plant are the two main transiton-forms in the terrestrial ecosystems.Land-use change influences the fixation,accumulation and release of the plant and soil carbon pools in terrestrial ecosystems,affecting the whole carbon cycle.From the aspects of soil and plant carbon pools,this paper reviewed the responses of terrestrial ecosystem carbon cycle processes to land-use change and research methods,especially the model,and made a prospect for future research.
